Forsinain Motspur Super Direct F8a, Bus Stop Quarry
Last night Calum Muskett returned to Bus Stop Quarry and climbed a super direct version of Forsinain Motspur.
A month ago Calum had added a direct start leading up to the first bolt. This time he took the same start and climbed up through the crux of the original route to reach the bolt before the leftwards traverse to the slab. At this point he continued direct up to the finishing crux move of Beltane, clipping the last bolt on that route way over to the right.
“It’s probably got the hardest climbing of all the routes on the main wall, maybe F8a, and the direct finish is better than the original finish. Even if I say so myself!”
