New Ogwen guide released!
Exciting news on the guidebook front: the Climbers’ Club has released the much anticipated Ogwen guide, and first impressions are that it is great piece of work.
Following in the new CC style, established last year with the well received Llanberis guide, it features amongst its many delights coverage of scrambling routes and bouldering.
The enthusiasm and diligence of main author, Mike Bailey really shines through – if you reckon you know the Ogwen crags already this book will make you think again. Mike, and the rest of the team, has done us all proud. This guide stands as a top class addition to the range of definitive guides for the North Wales area.
Other new releases include the A55 Sport Climbs from Mike Doyle, which covers, as the name suggests, the sport crags along the A55 corridor from Colwyn Bay to Dwygyfylchi.
There is also a new mini selected guide from Jack Geldard: North Wales Classics which covers the popular routes on the mountain crags of northern Snowdonia.
