Streaky Desroy and George Smith have climbed a new line in the little visited Tsunami Zawn at Gogarth. The Raging Ripple E2 5b (aka: Surf and Desroy) takes the second crack line to the right of The Amphibian (see the topo on page 239 of the Ground Up Gogarth North guide).

The description runs as follows;

Follow the crack to a small overlap where a dubious thread can be arranged around a hollow block. Continue up the crack and corner to the upper roof. Move out right onto the slab and keep it steady up chossy ground leading to the top.

“It’s a good route, a bit specialist, but not super specialist. Just a nice line in a sheltered zawn. Two or three number 5 Dragon Cams (equivalent to size 3.5 old style cams) are useful.” Explained Streaky.
